Josh Bouldin, from Fort Mill, SC, is a 2003 graduate of Winthrop University where he studied saxophone and clarinet with Dr. Phil Thompson. He joined the Office of University Advancement as Development Officer in June of 2021 after 18 years working with non-profit, youth-serving organizations around the southeast.

Josh has had the opportunity to perform with The Count Basie Orchestra, Harry Connick, Jr., Kim Waters, Ramsey Lewis, Loonis McGlohon, and others. He’s also played with various Top-40 and Beach Music bands and in several theatre productions such as Godspell, Into the Woods, West Side Story, The Music Man, Fame, Grease, and South Pacific. He also serves as President of Catawba River Winds, a community symphonic band based in York County, SC.

Josh has a desire to help others engage in life-long learning and expression through the arts. With your help, students at Winthrop University will have the opportunity to foster creativity and help others see the world through a different lens.
