The Expanded Media minor is an 18-hour program.

The Minor in Expanded Media offers an exploration of video, installation, performance, and digital media with an emphasis on research-based modes of making. Through a series of conceptually-driven interdisciplinary courses, students will develop proficiency in industry-standard creative software applications and pursue questions and research about the intersection of art and technology, culture, and natural and built environments. Students will acquire skills that support careers in fields such as film, video, electronics, sound, installation, and emerging forms of media.
