Accounting, Mentorship and Professional Development (AMPD) is a competitive program for underrepresented minorities interested in a career as a certified professional accountant. The program was developed from a partnership between Winthrop University's College of Business and Technology and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The program is devoted to preparing students to take the CPA exam, obtaining an entry level position in accounting, and provides them with the advantages that come with discipline-specific mentors, cohort classes, scholarships, internships and other professional development opportunities.
AMPD students are being accepted for Fall 2022. The program provides scholarships up to $2,000 for selected students each academic year. For more information on how to apply for the program, click here.
