Dr. Griggs is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at Winthrop University. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from James Madison University and an M.S and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining the College of Business at Winthrop, Dr. Griggs held tenure track appointments in the Department of Management at the University of North Carolina Asheville and the Department of Psychology at Winthrop University. She teaches courses in the areas of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and Organizational Change. Dr. Griggs' research focuses on employee health and wellbeing, career development, career management, work-life issues, and leadership development. She has written book chapters and published peer-reviewed articles in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Career Development, Consulting Psychology Journal, and others.
