I chose Winthrop University because I fell in love with its small and beautiful campus. In addition to the amazing campus, I received a scholarship to play on the Winthrop Men’s Soccer team. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be gifted a scholarship. The day that I found out I received scholarship money was such a gift, I could not wait to tell my parents. This has definitely helped alleviate financial stress and I could not be more thankful.

In addition to being a member of the Winthrop Men’s Soccer team, I am a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative for my team. I have also recently decided that I will graduate an entire year early (Spring 2022) and then pursue an MBA. While I work towards a MBA, I plan to use my extra year of eligibility for soccer and play at my graduate school for an additional two years.
