Woodle’s four abstracted forms were inspired by the location of the sculpture. Being positioned in front of the former Life Sciences Building (now Dalton Hall), it seemed appropriate to create a work in which the forms had a relationship to the study of life science. As a result, the four painted aluminum sculptures visually track the growth development of a frog.
