What do you love about Winthrop?
I love the sense of community at Winthrop. The faculty, staff and students at Winthrop
are so friendly and engaging. The people of Winthrop make you feel like you belong.
It is such a supportive environment.
What advice do you have for students during their search process?
Visit. Visiting a college is the best way to know if it is the right fit. As you
walk around, picture yourself living in the residence halls, sitting in a class, eating
lunch with friends.
What is your favorite event to attend in Rock Hill or local area?
My family and I love to attend Christmasville. It always puts us in the holiday spirit!
What is your favorite thing about Rock Hill?
I love that Rock Hill has a small-town feel, but has the conveniences of a larger
city. The area has grown and changed so much in my time living here, and I am excited
about the continued development downtown.
Favorite local restaurant in Rock Hill? Burgers & Barley, they have such great burgers!
