Jim Curley is an adjunct at Winthrop, teaching Physics labs. Jim graduated from the Citadel with a Physics degree and with a Masters in Physics from John Carroll University. 

Jim worked doing research and development in optical fiber sensors and optical components at Aster Corporation. He also worked as the manager of engineering services at Pirelli Cable. 

Jim is a USPTO registered patent agent, assisting corporations and independent inventors obtain patents for their inventions. 

Jim has taught Physics and Astronomy at York Technical College and Columbia College. 

Jim and his family live on a small homestead in rural SC where they raise pigs, chickens and lots of vegetables.
