Professor Tucker considers herself to be a product of Winthrop (at both undergraduate and graduate levels), and she enjoys being a part of the development of young professionals in the school psychology field. Tucker works as an adjunct lecturer and field supervisor of trainees/interns in Winthrop's School Psychology Graduate Program.

In 2006, she was honored as the Educator of the Year for the Exceptional Student Services Department of Rock Hill schools.

Tucker is married to Todd L. Tucker, also a Winthrop University alumnus. The couple has three sons.
