Dr. West grew up here in Rock Hill, SC! Throughout her career, she has worked on a number of different projects including animals models of drug and alcohol addiction and a mouse model of leukodystrophy. She is passionate about teaching and is constantly looking to improve. Her recent research is looking at teaching technologies that improve student writing and critical thinking. She would also love to start a Rat Basketball program in the Psychology Department as a teaching tool and research opportunity.
