Winthrop University will hold its third Interdisciplinary Conference entitled “Movement(s) in a Dynamic World: Interdisciplinary Perspectives.” Pandemic confinement is an all too recent memory, and we have since emerged into a world of shifting Political, Social, Ecological, and Ideological landscapes full of possibility. Where do we go from here? We hope that the broad and inclusive scope of this conference theme will result in a prismatic representation of Movement(s) drawing on perspectives across academic disciplines and also representing the vital work Movement(s) play in our communities.
On Saturday, February 25, starting at 4:45 p.m. there will be a Rock Hill Walking History and Brew Trail! This is an extra event and the cost is $25. On this tour, you will see some of the historic civil rights landmarks of Rock Hill and experience three of the fine new breweries in Rock Hill. (The cost includes a beverage at each of the three breweries). To register for this event please go to this link: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/D8h5jw05DKaluEIsOgk_AA.
