Gerontology Minor

The Gerontology minor is an interdisciplinary academic program at Winthrop that focuses on providing students from across campus the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in working with older adults. Coursework and field practicum experiences expose students to the bio-psycho-social-spiritual concerns and needs of older adults. Students completing the minor will be better equipped to critically assess for the diverse needs of this population.
