STEAM with LEGO 

  • Morning Session: Rising 2nd-6th June 24-28th 8:30-12:00PM (Waitlist) 
  • Afternoon Session: Rising 2nd-6th June 24-28th 12:30-4:00PM 

    • During this camp, students will use LEGO bricks, motors, lights, and sensors to create fun projects that bring STEAM concepts to life. Every day, kids will tackle playful challenges inspired by relatable themes, like building a robot dog or designing a musical bridge.

Engineering with LEGO

  • Morning Session: Rising 4th-8th July 8-12th 8:30-12:00PM
  • Afternoon Session: July 8-12th 12:30-4:00PM (Due to low enrollment, afternoon session has been combined with Morning session)
     
    • During this camp, students use LEGO® to learn engineering and physics. They will build machines that demonstrate real-world forces and motion, going beyond just creating gadgets to understanding and experimenting with how the world works. This year's focus is on gaining a deeper physical understanding of the world through hands-on building and experimentation, unlike last year's coding emphasis. Camp will allow for imaginative projects like robots scoring goals or devices analyzing athletic movements.

Python with LEGO

  • Morning Session: Rising 6th-8th July 15-19th  8:30-12:00PM
    • During this camp, students will take learning further, combining play with advanced STEAM skills. Activities will enable the building of interactive robots and mastering coding in an engaging way. This camp isn't just about building with bricks; it's a tool for developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative skills. Offering projects from beginner level to advanced options like text-based coding, including Python. This opportunity will transform students from curious learners to confident STEAM pioneers, all while they enjoy the process. This summer, SPIKE Prime encourages them to step away from screens and unleash their inner inventor through creative building.
