The environmental studies program is well-suited for students who are interested in environmental issues and people. Graduates are broadly-trained and find jobs in environmental education, compliance branches of city and state government, and environmental advocacy organizations, to name a few. Special aspects of our program include training in geographic information systems software and an experiential learning requirement, which provides real-world experiences before you graduate.

The B.A. degree in Environmental Studies will provide students with a broad introduction to the scientific, social, political, cultural, economic, and policy aspects of environmental issues. B.A. students will choose a minor in a discipline linked to their major.
Curriculum
