City Labs Inc. Announces Esports in Education Conference

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA - City Labs Inc. will partner with Winthrop University's esteemed esports program to host what promises to be the largest esports conference in the Carolinas.

Scheduled to take place on Aug. 16-17 at the Winthrop Coliseum, this inaugural event will gather educators, gaming enthusiasts, drone industry professionals and top-tier esports competitors under one roof. Organizers want to deliver an unforgettable experience that celebrates the rapidly growing esports culture.

Athletics Director Chuck Rey said Winthrop and York County are recognized as a national leader in esports and technology. “Partnering with City Labs is a tremendous opportunity to amplify our brands and awareness throughout the region while we are confident that this event will blossom into a national recognized event,” he said.

Participants and spectators alike can anticipate thrilling competitions, interactive exhibitions and insightful panels featuring industry leaders. From casual gamers to seasoned pros, there's something for everyone at this groundbreaking conference.

Registration for the event is now open on www.rockhillesports.com. Tickets are priced at $89 for each day or $150 for a two-day pass. Children aged 12 and under can attend for free, while participants aged 12 and up can register for both days at the price of $89.
