ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA — Two area piano faculty members will present a duo concert on Feb. 11 at Winthrop University and Feb. 18 at Davidson College.

Will Fried, an artist associate at Davidson, and Tomoko Deguchi, an associate professor at Winthrop, will team together for the 4 p.m. Feb. 11 concert at Winthrop's Frances May Barnes Recital Hall and at the 3 p.m. Feb. 18 event at Davidson's Tyler-Tallman Hall.

Both concerts are free and open to the public.

The performances will feature Stravinsky's iconic Rite of Spring arranged for two pianos, as well as music by John Adams and Ron Keith Parks, a Charlotte-area composer and Winthrop professor.

For the Feb. 11 concert, Fried and Deguchi will be joined by Adam Snow, an instructor of music at Winthrop, who arranged and will perform the percussion part for the Rite of Spring.
