ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA - Whenever school districts release their Teachers of the Year nominations, you can count on one thing: several Winthrop University alumni will always be in the pack.

The York, Clover and Chester school districts released their 2017-18 Teachers of the Year candidates this spring, while Fort Mill Schools announced its 2018 District Honor Roll Teachers of the Year.^

Winthrop alumni who earned Teacher of the Year nominations were:
