Nonprofit Management Certificate Program Accepting Applications

  • This nine-month program begins on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and is offered once each month through May 2022. 
  • It's designed for nonprofit executive directors, presidents and CEOs as well as program managers, department managers and key leadership staff who desire to build or enhance their fundamental knowledge of operating a not-for-profit organization.

ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA - Winthrop University’s Institute of Management is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 Nonprofit Management Certificate Program.  

This nine-month program begins on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and is offered once each month through May 2022. Successful participants in the program receive a certificate of completion from the Winthrop University Institute of Management, which is housed in the College of Business Administration.

Designed for nonprofit executive directors, presidents and CEOs as well as program managers, department managers and key leadership staff who desire to build or enhance their fundamental knowledge of operating a not-for-profit organization, the coursework includes:

*Board management and governance;

*Legal basics and operational accountability;

*Accounting and finance;

*Human resources management;

*Program planning;

*Business ethics and diversity;

*Marketing and public relations; and 

*Development and sustainability.  

Space in the program is limited, so don’t wait to sign up. The course fee includes tuition and materials: in-state tuition is $425 while out-of-state tuition is $525. Registrations are due by Aug. 31.
