ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA – Due to a city water line break earlier today, Winthrop
University cancelled all remaining classes, effective immediately, for Wednesday,
Oct. 9.
No timeframe was given for when water will be restored.
- Dining Services’ retail locations on campus will close at 4 p.m. A modified menu will
be offered in Thomson Cafeteria until further notice.
- The West Center and DiGs will close at 4 p.m.
- All events scheduled on campus for tonight are cancelled.
- Men’s and women’s soccer games will be held as scheduled.
An update will be provided on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m.
