ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA — Winthrop University's 2018 Whitton Speaker Series will feature a seven-person panel discussion that will focus on how technology enhances
the financial sector.
The April 3 event will feature panelists Ramy Serageldin, the chief executive officer of Honeyfi; Walt Frye, executive director of the Charlotte Regional Fund for Entrepreneurship and a former
banking executive; Justin Witz, chief executive officer of Catapult and internet technology director of FRA PlanTools;
Aubrey Hawes, financial technology leader of Oracle; Jessie Dennen, advisor with PCI Pal and multi-time successful tech entrepreneur; Mark Brinton, digital development manager at Movement Mortgage; and Darrell Jones, vice president of business partnerships at Tech Talent South.
The event, which will be held on April 3 from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in Whitton Auditorium of Carroll Hall, will be moderated by Philip Gibson, assistant professor of finance, and Nicki Washington, associate professor of computer
science.
