Take any two courses in the Winthrop Global Communities Institute to expand your knowledge of human activity across the globe. Explore global cultures, societies, history, myths, religion, and politics as these are revealed in the disciplines of African American Studies, Anthropology, English, Geography, History, Political Science, Religious Studies, and Sociology.

Courses and Dates

No single course in the institute is required, and the courses are spread out through the summer terms so that you can complete the certification taking only one course at a time! Choose any two courses from the list below to earn the microcredential.
