Purpose of Organization: To advocate for middle level education, advance high quality middle level educator
preparation according to AMLE(Association for Middle Level Education) standards, instill
in its members a commitment to ongoing professional development, develop tomorrow's
leaders for middle level education, and encourage pre-service teachers to become involved
in professional organizations at the campus level and ultimately at the state and
national levels.
Description of Organization: Develops a strong family community among Winthrop's Middle Level Majors. Supports
the professional development of future middle level teachers and other pre-service
professionals who wish to work with young adolescents.
