Purpose of Organization: To advance music education in our community and aid future music educators in professional
development through clinics with guest speakers, local volunteer opportunities, and
state and national conferences.
Description of Organization: NAfME, among the world's largest arts education organizations, marked its centennial
in 2007 as the only association that addresses all aspects of music education.
Planned Projects/Events: Visit to the Children's Attention Home; NAfME Tutoring Program; Midwest Band and Orchestra
