Description of Organization: SEAC is a student and youth-run national networks of progressive organizations and
individuals whose aim is to uproot environmental injustices through action and education.
We work to educate our Winthrop community about environmental and sustainability issues.
Through awareness, we aim to make positive changes in regards to sustainability on
our campus.
Planned Projects/Events: Trash clean ups (on and off campus), plastic bag and battery drives, hiking, camping, community garden work and sponsoring/hosting environmental documentaries for cultural events.
