WHEREAS, Tatiana Sosa, by virtue of her position as Chair of the Council of Student
Leaders, has served as the student representative to the Winthrop University Board
of Trustees during the 2008-2009 academic year, and
WHEREAS, she has employed her concern for people, her community spirit, and her experience
as a student leader to ensure that Winthrop University continues its tradition of
outstanding service to students, and
WHEREAS, her commitment to student perspectives, interests, and priorities make her
an excellent student advocate;
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Winthrop University recognizes
Tatiana Sosa for her commitment to, support of, and distinguished leadership in student
endeavors at Winthrop University.
