WHEREAS, in accordance with Board Bylaws Article IV, Section B.1., the Executive Committee
of the Winthrop Board of Trustees met on October 2, 2013 to discuss the annual performance
objectives for the President of Winthrop University for 2013-2014 as mandated by the
State Agency Head Salary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Committee believes the objectives as set forth in the attached
document are appropriate and well-developed;
THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the formal evaluation of the performance of Jayne
Marie Comstock as President of Winthrop University shall be made in accordance with
these objectives as submitted to the State Agency Head Salary Commission.
