WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees at Winthrop University have examined the fee structure at Winthrop University and adopted the recommendations provided by the Finance Committee to reduce the MSW program tuition, charge commuter students a security fee, and charge Roddey residents a new plan; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Board recognize their fiduciary responsibilities to ensure that the University’s operating budget strikes a balance between actual resources and commitments;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed tuition and fee changes and FY2023 Operating Budget as attached hereto and incorporated by reference be adopted by the Board of Trustees; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Full Board of the Board of Trustees be authorized to amend the Winthrop University fee schedules and/or FY2023 Budget Allocations as necessary.
