WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees at Winthrop University have examined the fee structure of Winthrop University and adopted the recommendations provided by the Finance Committee to reduce the Human Nutrition program tuition and increase the Room & Board, Health & Counseling, Library, and Environment Safety Fees; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Board recognize their fiduciary responsibilities to ensure that the University’s operating budget strikes a balance between actual resources and commitments;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed tuition and fee changes for Fall 2024 hereto and incorporated by reference be adopted by the Board of Trustees; and
THEREFORE, BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED that the Full Board of the Board of Trustees be authorized to amend the Winthrop University fee schedules as necessary.
