WHEREAS, per the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees, the Board is empowered to approved projects exceeding $250,000; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Board recognize their fiduciary responsibilities to ensure the fiscal health of the University and that projects are in-line with the mission of the University; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees at Winthrop University examined the contracts over $250,000 brought forth by management based on the recommendations provided by the Facilities and Strategic Committee & the Finance Committee of upcoming projects; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Full Board of the Board of Trustees approve the project list over $250,000 as presented.
