WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees recognize their fiduciary responsibility to ensure that the University’s budget strikes a balance between actual resources and commitments; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees at Winthrop University examined the projects brought forth by management to be funded with the FY2023 State Capital Allocation based on the recommendations provided by the Facilities and Strategic Committee & the Finance Committee of upcoming projects; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Board recognize that projects may change based on actual project costs and/or emergency projects that arise; and
WHEREAS, University leadership will provide quarterly updates to the project list and status report to the Board of Trustees; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the projects on the $6,000,000 list funded by the State Capital Allocation, as presented, are approved by the Board of Trustees.
