Welcome to the Accounting, Finance, and Economics department at Winthrop University. Our faculty are committed to providing high-quality instruction and support to students to help them succeed in their chosen major. In addition to teaching, we advise student organizations, develop employer relationships, attend professional meetings, host special topics seminars, provide academic advising to students, and engage in numerous other activities to stay current in our fields and deliver the most relevant information to our students. We aim to produce accounting, finance, and economics graduates who are well-prepared for careers and graduate programs.
