for scholarships in your major--not your add-on areas.
The Richard W. Riley College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences offers a variety of awards and scholarships. On the basis of specific selection criteria, applications are evaluated each spring by members of the college's Scholarship Committee or by specific departments. All scholarships are issued at registration for the following semester. Scholarships are awarded without regard to race, sex, religion, age, or national origin.
The College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences scholarship application for 2024-2025 was e-mailed to currently enrolled College of Education, Sport, & Human Sciences students via their Winthrop e-mail. The rubric the committee will be using to score applications can be found here.
The deadline to apply for 2024-2025 College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences scholarships was March 11, 2024, at 9:00 am. Applicants will receive communication via their Winthrop University e-mail once scholarship decisions have been made.
