Applying for Aid

FSA User ID

The FSA User ID (username & password) serves as your login to various U.S. Department of Education systems. Your FSA ID confirms your identity when you access your financial aid information and electronically sign Federal Student Aid documents. You should never share your FSA ID with anyone. If you have not already created a FSA ID, you can create one when logging in to studentaid.gov by following these instructions (pdf - 2.03 MB).

Each student needs a FSA ID. For dependent students, the parent providing the income information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will also need to register for a FSA ID. For more information regarding dependency status for filing a FAFSA or which parents' information is to be reported in cases of separation and divorce, visit studentaid.gov.
