Winthrop University’s Honors Program is designed to enrich the college experience for highly talented and motivated students. The Honors Program provides qualified students the opportunity, through interactions with talented faculty and peers, to participate in a vibrant scholarly community in which they can build the skills that will allow them to succeed in graduate school, professional school, and post-educational employment. More particularly, the program offers students opportunities to engage in directed scholarly research and creative projects with the aim of providing students with the opportunity for public presentation and publication.
