Award Criteria: Awarded by the President of Winthrop University, the Winthrop Award of Excellence is an honor recognizing individuals who have excelled in implementing the Winthrop Plan. These individuals have demonstrated extra effort and made remarkable progress in transforming the university’s shared vision into reality. Nominees can be an individual faculty or staff member. Award selection will be based on evaluation of how the nominee has demonstrated noteworthy contributions to the realization of one or more of the major goals of the Winthrop Plan.
