ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA The Winthrop University campus community never misses an opportunity to celebrate and learn about a holiday. Check out these upcoming Halloween-centered events:

Association of Black Journalists' Boogram Sales
Tuesdays beginning Oct. 9-23; 11 a.m.
DiGiorgio Campus Center lobby/concourse
This bake sale benefits Winthrop's chapter of the Association of Black Journalists.

Hallo...llujahWe've Got Sweets!

Thursday, Oct. 11, 10:30 a.m.

Another yummy Halloween-themed bake sale!

My Culture Is Not a Costume
Thursday, Oct. 18, 7 p.m.
Kinard Auditorium
Zeta Sigma Chi Multicultural Sorority Incorporated offers a different perspective on Halloween costumes and how to be respectful of other cultures.

Commuter Club Halloween Social
Tuesday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m.
202 Owens Hall
The Commuter Club invites all commuters for Halloween-themed activities and socializing.

Friday, Oct. 26, 4-8 p.m.

Who doesn't love a fun carnival?

Eagle Flicks Horror Double-Feature
Saturday, Oct. 27, 7 p.m.
Dina's Place
Join DSU for two frightening flicks: "A Quiet Place" and "The First Purge." Tickets are $3.

Halloween Happenings
Tuesday, Oct. 30, 6 p.m.
Student Activity Center
The Resident Students' Association will host this annual event for the community. Local children are invited to trick or treat in the residence halls.

Ghost Tours
Tuesday, Oct. 30, 6:30 p.m.
McBryde Hall/Tillman Hall
The Student Alumni Council will scare visitors with this creepy tour of Tillman featuring ghost stories, from the basement to the 4th floor. The tours are timed and will have designated times. Tickets are $7 and will be available online.

Art History Film Festival: "Carrie"
Tuesday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m.
18 Kinard Hall
Prom's a killerseriouslyin this 1970s chiller.

Campus & Community Involvement Committee Celebrates Halloween
Wednesday, Oct 31, all day
Decorate your door with Halloween flair for a prize! The committee will also award the 'Best Costume' for bragging rights and a photo in Staff Stuff.

Everybody Loves a Villain
Wednesday-Saturday, Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 8 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 4, 2 p.m.
Johnson Studio Theatre
Celebrate the Halloween season with mischief and mayhem in an evening of villainous show tunes. Students perform songs by those villains you love to hate! Tickets are $5 Wednesday and Thursday with a Winthrop ID and $10 for the general public; tickets for the Friday-Sunday shows are $8 with a Winthrop ID and $15 without. Cultural event.
