Commuters

About Us

Welcome to our services designed to assist you as a commuting or nonresidential student and to those transitioning from on-campus life to off-campus living. All services are designed to help students continue achieving success at Winthrop University! What does it mean to be a commuter student? Commuter students are simply Winthrop students who do not live on campus. You commute to class and activities from an off-campus apartment or home.

The services available to students will encourage critical thinking, careful planning and the utilization of services available within the University and surrounding community. It will be up to each student to put into action their own plan as they continue to engage in the Winthrop Experience.

The Dean of Students Office is committed to helping students succeed no matter where they live. Call 803/323-4503 or e-mail DeanOfStudents@winthrop.edu for more information or assistance.
