International and Global Studies Minor

The minor in International and Global Studies (INGS) seeks to develop global perspectives and a multi-disciplinary understanding of cultures. Students achieve this through foreign language instruction, engagement with a foreign culture, and coursework with a regional or comparative focus.  This minor includes course options pertaining to Europe, Asia, Africa/Middle East, and Latin America as well as courses with a comparative approach that analyze multiple topics cross-culturally. One of the most flexible programs on campus, the INGS program allows students to customize their minor by choosing coursework from among over twenty different disciplines spanning four of the university's colleges.
