Program

Macfeat Early Childhood Laboratory School consists of three classrooms. The two preschool classrooms provide programs for children ages three and four and incorporate individualized curricula based on South Carolina Early Learning Standards. The multi-age kindergarten curricula encompasses the South Carolina State Kindergarten Standards. All three classrooms are designed with learning centers that foster independence, creativity, collaboration and discovery.

Staffed by professional educators with advanced degrees, graduate and undergraduate students, and numerous volunteers, the school provides each child with a unique opportunity to explore, create, experiment, and build social skills through interactions with other children and caring, competent adults.

Macfeat Laboratory School uses the National Association for the Education of Young Children standards as a framework to guide our curriculum and program. We maintain an A+ rating from ABC Quality Rating System, demonstrating that our program goes above and beyond to provide an environment where children thrive. Macfeat is also licensed by the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS).
