Macfeat Tuition and Fees

The fees charged for Macfeat Early Childhood Laboratory School are determined annually by the University Budget Office.

All fees are paid online through Winthrop Marketplace. Tuition payments are paid to the Cashier's Office, 22 Tillman Hall. Make all checks payable to Winthrop University. Monthly tuition payments may be paid online.

Fees for the current academic year are as follows and are subject to change based on operational expenses:

• Application fee: (non-refundable) $30 
• Registration fee: (non-refundable, due upon acceptance) $105
• Monthly tuition payments August through May:
  • $653.32 for full day preschool and kindergarten
  • $345.03 for half day preschool 
• After school care: $5.75 per day (semester commitment) 
• Winthrop permanent, full-time employees receive a tuition discount. Please contact the Macfeat office for details.

Ten equal payments are each due on the first day of the month (August-May). Prompt payments are imperative. The university will assess a charge of $25 for each month's payment that is delinquent. There is no deduction for days absent, school closings, or days a child may be picked up early.

To make tuition payments online: Click the "Macfeat Parent" link on the left side of the Cashiers Office webpage. Use your student's Winthrop ID as the username and their date of birth (mmddyyyy) as the password.
