Family Events

Not only are you a part of the Winthrop campus, but now, so is your family! Please feel welcome to include your family in the wonderful events held on campus so they can share your college experience with you.

Athletic Events

Current students may attend any home Winthrop athletic game (unless noted) for free with their Winthrop ID card.

Families are encouraged to root on the Winthrop Eagles! Tickets for family members can be purchased at the box office for the general public admission price. A full listing of the athletic events can be found on the Athletics website

Winthrop Athletics offers children the chance to be part of the Jr. Eagles Kids Club.  The Jr. Eagles Kids Club is a club for Winthrop Eagle fans 13 years or younger who would like to become involved with all of the athletic teams at Winthrop. You can join Big Stuff in all of the fun and excitement of Winthrop Athletics. Cheer on your favorite teams and players with all of your friends.

Cultural Events

Cultural Events (unless noted) are open to the public. Charges for events will apply. For a full listing of cultural events, visit the Cultural Events website.

The Cultural Events Committee will also accept petitions for off-campus events and portfolio submissions for cultural event credit.  The options were designed for non-traditional students, but available to all Winthrop students.  Please visit the cultural events website for details and requirements for these options.  University College Academic Advising maintains a list of family-friend off-campus events/activities, which includes several that could be considered as part of the petition process.  Please contact us directly to receive an electronic copy of that list.
