    Description: AGU Fall Meeting is the primary gathering for Earth and space scientists, students, and those in affiliated fields to share scientific findings and identify innovative solutions.     Description: The CAA Annual Conference brings together over 5,000 art historians, artists, designers, and visual arts professionals in all stages of their careers.     Description: The Lighthearted Philosophers’ Society (LPS) is an organization for philosophy of humor and for humorous philosophy.     Description: As the world continues to practice social distancing, Sigma Xi is proud to host an international, multidisciplinary Virtual Student Scholars Symposium (VS3). This one-day event is an opportunity for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students to present and celebrate their research and engage with peers and professionals from the comfort of their home. The program includes poster and oral presentations across science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine (STEMM) disciplines, in addition to career preparation sessions.     Description: The Student Research Showcase is an online science communication competition in which students compete for awards and recognition of outstanding virtual research presentations. The competition is open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and most worldwide research disciplines are represented across thirteen categories.

    Participants submit websites containing three main components: a research abstract, a technical slideshow, and a video. The video component challenges participants to present their research to a general audience. During the judging period, more than sixty Sigma Xi members volunteer as judges to evaluate students’ submissions and engage in digital conversations with presenters through their websites

    Description: Founded in 1928, the South Atlantic Modern Language Association is an organization of teachers, scholars, and students dedicated to the advancement of literary and linguistic scholarship and teaching in the modern languages. As its name implies, SAMLA started as a regional organization; however, current membership extends throughout the southeastern United States, across the country, and around the world. SAMLA’s largest event is its annual conference.     Description: Welcome to the Fourteenth Annual Longwood University Undergraduate Medieval Conference. The conference theme of "Meeting in the Middle" highlights the growing place of Longwood and Farmville as a hub of Medieval Studies. Not only have faculty and library resources been augmented of late, but Farmville itself is central to a growing web of medievalists in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland. This year's papers will coalesce around the theme of “The ‘Original’ Marvel Universe.” We invite the best undergraduate scholarship of our region (and beyond) to come and nuance, overthrow, perhaps even confirm our theme.

    Description: The Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium provides hundreds of students across all fields of the humanities the opportunity to share their work in the professional presentation style most common to their fields. Attendees also participate in professionalization and recruitment events during the three-day symposium, including panels on graduate admissions, careers in publishing, and networking. This is the first conference of its kind: there has been no other national platform for undergraduates in the humanities to share their work.     Description: The South Carolina Society for Philosophy was founded to serve the interests and needs of philosophy students and professionals around the state of South Carolina. Members meet once a year at various universities around the state. SURC brings together undergraduate students and faculty mentors from across the SUNY/CUNY system for a full day of activities, including sessions devoted to student presentations (oral, performance, artistic displays, and poster), luncheon, keynote speakers, a SUNY Graduate School and Career Fair, and professional development workshops for students and faculty. SURC is supported by the Offices of the Chancellor, Provost, and Research Foundation, as well as SUNY student and faculty governance organizations. All undergraduate students engaged in research and their mentors across SUNY and CUNY are invited to attend.

    Description: One of the largest interdisciplinary undergraduate research conferences in the nation, with more than 300 students sharing their knowledge and ingenuity through poster and oral presentations, artistic performances, and visual art exhibits. URC presenters and performers represent a broad range of fields, including the humanities, performing arts, biological and chemical sciences, social sciences, and physical sciences.

    Description: The primary purpose of this conference is to enhance undergraduate training in and knowledge of the European Union and US-European relations.
