Sustainability Minor

The minor in sustainability (SUST) provides students with a broad understanding of how we can meet the needs of today without compromising the needs of future generations. Students will be exposed to sustainability issues in human systems (economics, for instance) as well as in natural systems (environmental biology, for instance) and will be encouraged to apply principles of sustainability to real world problems. Increasingly, college graduates are expected to have a working knowledge of sustainability issues. This minor will reasonably complement a large variety of majors.
