Scholarships

Sociology Merit Scholarship - To provide financial support for outstanding students majoring in Sociology.

The Brooking Industries Scholarship - To provide financial support for dependent high school and college students of current, full-time commissioned Law Enforcement officers and qualified First Responders. The desired degree must complement any career within the Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, or First Responder fields. Click here to learn more and apply.

Lawrence D. Joiner Scholarship Fund - To provide scholarship for rising juniors or seniors for travel abroad to study or do research in the humanities. Special consideration given to those studying and researching in foreign language and literature.

Helen Kesler Beckham Memorial Endowed Scholarship - To provide renewable scholarships to upperclassmen. Preference given to high-achieving rising sophomores, residents of South Carolina and foreign language majors with consideration for summer study abroad.

Robert M. Ward Scholarship - To provide scholarships for students in the College or Arts and Sciences. Candidates must have at least 3.0 GPA.

Georgie Inabinet Adams Lefvendahl Endowed Scholarship - To provide scholarships for undergraduate students. Recipients must have a GPA of at least 3.0. Need is also a criterion. Preference given to students in the field of Library Science.
