Student Services

Welcome Transfer Students!

Transfer students succeed at Winthrop and in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Our College holds fourteen departments that offer a number of majors and minors, so completing the degree you've already begun in a reasonable amount of time may be possible.

Be sure to check out our catalog for all of our programs and course offerings.

How many credits do I need to finish my degree?
To discuss how many of your credits may transfer, or what might be the best major or program of study for you, please contact Adria Belk, Director of Student Services directly at 803/323-2183 or belkal@winthrop.edu

As a new transfer student, you have many other questions that need specific answers. Feel free to seek guidance from Dr. Belk and the rest of her staff, but the following sites will also be very helpful to you.  If you prefer, fill out a Request for Information form, and someone from Admissions will contact you.
