As part of your time in the College of Business and Technology, you have the opportunity to be formally inducted into the College. The Induction Ceremony takes place in the Fall semester for students that qualify through the previous Spring (or Summer) semester. Students must apply for induction and there is no fee!
To qualify for Induction a student must complete (with a C- or better) the following
Foundation courses within their first 60 hours (or the first semester at Winthrop as a Transfer Student) and must not be currently enrolled in:
BADM 180 - Business Careers and Professional Development
CSCI 101 - Introduction to Computers and Information Processing
CSCI 101 B - Using Microsoft Excel
CSCI 101 C - Using Microsoft Access
CSCI 101 D - Advanced Excel
MATH 151 - Applied College Algebra
ACCT 280 - Introduction to Financial Accounting
ACCT 281 - Introduction to Managerial Accounting
ECON 215 - Principles of Microeconomics
ECON 216 - Principles of Macroeconomics
QMTH 205 - Quantitative Methods in Business
