Prospective Students

The Winthrop Eagle STEM Scholars Program is seeking motivated, goal-oriented, high-caliber students who demonstrate excellent proficiency in science and mathematics. This student-centered program provides individual and peer support, resources for academic success, and an unmatched level of access to scientific research. Applicants should have completed an advanced or AP/IB course in mathematics, chemistry, physics, or biology and also should have a strong GPA and math SAT score.

High School Administrators

To be considered, applicants must be nominated to the program, most frequently, by high school administrators, guidance counselors, or teachers. Deserving students also may be nominated by other adults who are influential in their educational and personal lives, including pastors and mentors.
