Summer Housing

The Summer Application will be posted each April and will be accessibile by following these directions:

Wingspan > Eaglesnest Housing > Housing Request > Summer Housing Application

The location of Summer Housing may vary each year depending on summer projects, camps, and facility upgradres taking place throughout campus

Who can Stay?

  • Anyone that will be enrolled in summer classes, or enrolled at Winthrop for the subsequent fall semester
    • Priority is given to students taking summer classes
    • Students are required to move out of summer housing during a specified date the first week of August. If you are living on campus in the Fall we will schedule a move-over to your Fall assignment

How does a "Full Summer" Contract Work?

 A Full Summer Contract includes the time frames and associated Housing fees and Meal Plan fees below, when Dining Services are available.

  • Housing between spring closing and the start of summer sessions (no meals served during this period)
  • Housing the entire summer through the first week of August
  • For those who will be living on campus in the fall, housing between the first week of August and the opening of campus for the fall (no meals available after the end of the final summer session until New Student Move-In)
  • Partial summer contracts are also available for certain sessions
