Groups and Professional Organizations

Beta Beta Beta, the national biology honor society, is represented with a chapter on the Winthrop campus. Its members participate in initiations, field trips, and a variety of other activities. "Club Med" is an organization available for students interested in medicine, dentistry, and para-medical areas. Members hear from Winthrop graduates in professional careers, take field trips, receive information on national exams (MCAT, DAT, etc.), and hear speakers from a variety of medical fields.
