The Mass Communication Student Advisory Board (SAB) represents the student body to the Department and provides a channel of communication between faculty and students. Members are drawn from all majors and include freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. The Board is reconstituted each year.
The Board organizes events, provides valuable feedback on curriculum, and actively contributes to student life in the Department. Every spring, it hosts a dessert social to welcome incoming international students.
